Hi! I'm Kalena. I'm a portrait photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri who specializes in natural light, outdoor photography. If you're looking for a photographer to take your family photos, maternity photos, or senior photos, I'm your gal! I'm located in KC but I also frequently travel to surrounding areas for photo shoots. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

The first step starts when you fill out the contact form here on my website or send me a message on social media. I will send you an email and we will pick out a date and location for your photo shoot. If you need help picking out a location, I can send you a free location guide for all the best spots in Tucson and beyond. One thing to keep in mind is that I schedule all portrait sessions to start about an hour before sunset for the best golden hour lighting.
Contract & Invoice
After we decide on a location and date, I will email you a contract and invoice for the 50% non-refundable retainer. Once the contract is signed and the invoice is paid, your date will be officially locked into my calendar and we will be all set! I will be available to assist you with wardrobe selections and answer any outfit questions. If you ever have any questions or need to reschedule your session, just send me an email and I'll respond promptly.
PHOTO SHOOT DAY
On the day of your portrait session, we will meet at the location and I'll guide you through the whole photo shoot. My photography style relies on prompts to give movement and authentic, candid moments to your photos. If you need help posing or knowing where to put your hands, I will be there to help you out. After your session, I will work on editing your full gallery. Once the photos are finished, you'll receive an email with a link to an online gallery where you can view and download all your photos with a print release.

I would first like to say that she is such a kind person and has a beautiful personality. She made my boyfriend and I feel comfortable during our shoot and guided us the whole way.
