This sweet and elegant wedding in Tucson, Arizona at the Lodge on the Desert hotel was a dream to photograph. Kate and Sam’s love for their friends and family shone brightly through every part of their day and I feel honored to have been their photographer.
Kate and Sam’s wedding day started off with getting ready on location at the Lodge on the Desert hotel venue. Most of their guests came from out of state, so their choice to have a wedding at a hotel was a smart one. Their family and friends booked rooms on site and were conveniently close to the ceremony and reception. When speaking with Kate and Sam prior to their wedding, Kate emphasized how important the wedding details would be to her. So I made sure to capture lots of detail photos from start to finish.
One of my favorite parts of being their Tucson wedding photographer was seeing how loved Kate and Sam were by their family and friends. They included their family in wonderful ways throughout their wedding. Kate’s grandma was the officiant! Sam was walked down the aisle by both of his parents and Kate was as well. Their friends speeches during their reception were so heartfelt and I loved the joy and fun that radiated through every part of their day.
I love all my wedding clients, but it’s truly special when you meet couples who you just click with instantly and share the same interests with. Kate and Sam were one of these couples and I really enjoyed being their Tucson wedding photographer and getting to know them during the engagement session and wedding day.
