Outdoor Wedding at Willow Acres Weddings & Events in Middletown, IN

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a truly memorable and fun outdoor wedding at Willow Acres Weddings & Events venue in Middletown, Indiana. The bride wore a stunning pink wedding dress that added a touch of whimsy to the day, and the highlight was definitely the adorable Hello Kitty cake! The best part was that the bride and groom (Madison and Josh) are good friends! My husband and Josh grew up together in Indiana and Madison and I have bonded over our love for photography.

As a photographer, my aim is to capture those authentic moments that tell a story and evoke genuine emotions. This wedding was no exception. From the joyful smiles to the tears of happiness, every image reflects the timeless beauty of love and celebration.

The outdoor venue at Willow Acres was simply breathtaking. With its lush greenery and charming rustic elements, it provided the perfect backdrop for this special occasion. The natural light added a soft and romantic feel to the photographs and the willow trees were so beautiful to use in their photos, especially during their first look.

Madison’s choice of a pink wedding dress added a unique and personal touch to the day. It showcased her personality and added a vibrant, playful element to the photographs. Seeing her walk down the aisle in that unexpected color brought a smile to everyone’s face. One of the highlights of the wedding was undoubtedly the Hello Kitty cake. It was not only adorable but also showcased the couple’s love for fun and whimsy. I too have a love for Hello Kitty (although I suspect probably not as much as Madison does!) and I brought my Hello Kitty Café water bottle to be on theme!
