I’ve been meaning to blog this beautiful, colorful wedding at Agua Linda Farm for a while now and I’m finally sitting down to do so. Kelly and Grant planned a romantic, vibrant spring wedding filled with joy and meaningful details. I was so honored to capture it all on camera!
Kelly truly incorporated the most thoughtful and meaningful details into every part of the wedding decor. Starting with the flay lay photos, there were so many cute items including a pair of tiny bicycles since they love to bike together. She also included a couple of the coffee ground bags that were favors to all the guests. I absolutely loved the cute jean jacket that said “Señora Silvey” and the chair signs at the reception table that read “Señora” and “Señor”. It was a beautiful nod to Kelly’s latin heritage and culture.
Probably my favorite part of this wedding was the reception. It was just one of those peaceful, perfect temperature evenings filled with laughter and friendly conversations all around. Being in Tucson, Kelly and Grant opted to hold their reception outdoors in the spacious lawn. Outdoor receptions are just so much fun to photograph. The natural light and abundance of space to move around is a photographers dream.
Agua Linda Farms offers the perfect layout for a wedding reception at the back of the main building. A brick patio with a pool and a covered little pavilion is the perfect space for a cocktail hour. The large, green lawn offers a beautiful space for your reception with plenty of space for tables and chairs. The brick building provides a picturesque backdrop for the head table and a small covered dance floor is available for late night partying.
Kelly and Grant’s wedding was a testament to the romantic and timeless nature of love. The couple’s chemistry was evident in every way and I loved listening to their family members make incredibly kind toasts for them.
Throughout the day, I focused on capturing those candid moments of joy and intimacy that make weddings so special. From the moment Kelly walked down the aisle, radiating beauty and happiness, to the heartfelt speeches that brought tears to everyone’s eyes, I was privileged to be able to document it all.
Being a photographer is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about capturing emotions, telling stories, and preserving cherished memories. My goal is to create photographs that evoke the same feelings years down the line. The photos will always remind Kelly and Grant of the love and happiness they felt on that colorful spring day at Agua Linda Farm.
