Modern, Romantic Kansas City Engagement Session

Capturing beautiful moments of love and togetherness is one of the joys of being a photographer. This time, I had the pleasure of photographing Lydia and Cooper during their engagement session in the romantic backdrop of Kansas City.

Kansas City provided the perfect blend of urban charm and natural beauty. The bustling streets and iconic landmarks served as an ideal backdrop, highlighting the couple’s deep connection and the excitement of their upcoming journey together.

This engagement session was just the first of 3 different occasions that I’d photograph for Lydia and Cooper. We later flew to Sedona, Arizona where they had an intimate elopement with Cathedral Rock in the background. Their reception to celebrate with all their friends and family was one week later at The Monarch Room back in Kansas City. I just absolutely love documenting every part of a couples love story. It truly brings meaning to being a storyteller photographer.

Their engagement session not only celebrated their love for each other but also expressed their individuality as a couple. The modern aesthetic we embraced perfectly suited their style, while still maintaining a sense of timelessness. These images will withstand the test of time and will continue to evoke warm feelings even decades from now.
