Surprise Proposal at Messenger Coffee and Engagement Photos in Kansas City Crossroads Arts District

This surprise proposal at Messenger Coffee Co. in Kansas City was perfect in every way! Blake and Katelynn are two of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and are truly a perfect match.

Blake put so much thought and planning into every detail of this proposal. From the decorations, to the location, to the personally engraved bible, to inviting all their closest friends, he really made the whole proposal a wonderful experience for Katelynn. The previous week’s weather had been pretty chilly and rainy so it was a blessing to have this clear and sunny evening. The location was on the rooftop of Messenger Coffee Co. in Crossroads, Kansas City. This is where Blake and Katelynn went on their first date!

Katelynn’s best friends took her out for an early birthday celebration day filled with hanging out, shopping, and getting her nails done (of course 😉 ) She had no idea that their last stop of the day at Messenger Coffee would be where Blake was waiting to propose to her!

After he popped the question and she said “YES”, we walked all around the Crossroads to take photos. It was the best time and I had a blast getting to know them both more. Enjoy these photos of this beautiful and joyful day!
