A Sunset Maternity Portrait Session at Mount Lemmon

Olivia and Andy had the most beautiful Mount Lemmon maternity photo shoot with a stunning Arizona sunset.
This wasn’t my first time working with this couple. I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos a couple years before. They’re so sweet and we had an amazing time capturing their engagement on camera. So when they asked me to take their maternity photos for their first child, I of course said “yes!”
We chose Windy Point at Mount Lemmon as the location of their maternity portrait session. Every time I’ve worked here, the skies are so beautiful and the sunsets are magical. This evening was especially spectacular and the sunset really showed off for us!

Mount Lemmon, just north of Tucson, provided an idyllic backdrop for this special occasion. Its majestic peaks and scenic vistas offered an endless array of breathtaking views, making every frame feel timeless. This location perfectly complemented Olivia and Andy’s love, capturing the essence of their tender connection.

As the setting sun dipped below the distant horizon, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the sky, I couldn’t help but be in awe of the sheer beauty that unfolded before my lens. The soft pinks and fiery oranges blended seamlessly with Olivia’s glowing complexion and the flowing fabric of her maternity gown.

Throughout the shoot, I focused on capturing authentic moments between Olivia and Andy. I wanted their love to shine through every image, allowing their story to be told in a genuine and heartfelt way. As the sun bid us farewell, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for being part of Olivia and Andy’s sunset maternity photo shoot. The beauty of Mount Lemmon, coupled with their undeniable love, created an experience that was truly unforgettable.
