Chelsea and Chris had a warm, laidback wedding reception at The Stanley Event Space in Lees Summit, MO. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, which perfectly reflected their style and personalities. As their photographer, I was thrilled to capture the second part to their wedding celebrations. See their elopement at Zion National Park HERE.
The Stanley Event Space provided a beautiful backdrop for this joyous occasion. The venue was spacious yet intimate, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests. With its elegant decor and charming ambiance, it set the perfect stage for Chelsea and Chris to celebrate their love.
The couple opted to elope at ZNP and have a reception for their friends & family back in Kansas City later. Chelsea and Chris are two of the most laid back and go-with-the-flow couples I’ve ever known which is truly wonderful from a photography stand point. Their focus was on creating an enjoyable experience for everyone, with plenty of laughter and happy conversations filling the air. I love it when couples chose to focus on creating a truly memorable and meaningful experience that they will enjoy. Weddings are already stressful so why add to that stress!
Throughout the evening, I made sure to capture not only the big moments, such as the heartfelt speeches and the first dance, but also the little details that added to the story of their celebration. From the lovingly decorated tables with photos from their elopement, to the sweet video they played for all their friends, every element of their reception contributed to the overall joyous atmosphere.
As their photographer, I was honored to be a part of Chelsea and Chris’s special day. The beautiful of The Stanley Event Space made my job as a storyteller even more enjoyable. This is a venue I’ve wanted to work at for a while so I’m so thankful that I was able to be their photographer. Capturing the genuine moments and emotions that unfolded throughout the evening was a reminder of why I love what I do.
In the end, it’s not just about the photographs themselves but also about the memories they represent. Chelsea and Chris’s celebration with their families will forever hold a special place in their hearts, and I am grateful to have been able to document it in a way that captures the essence of their love and celebration.
