This intimate outdoors elopement started with a first look at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort and ended with a sweet ceremony under the Saguaros at Sabino Canyon followed by beautiful wedding portraits.
Being Davina and Joel’s wedding photographer and getting to document their love was a true honor. The intentionality of their day was inspiring and their love for each other was so evident through their vows. Before their elopement day, we worked together to find the perfect locations for all their photos. Loews Ventana Canyon Resort has a beautiful waterfall where we took some portraits right after their first look. We then drove a short 8 minutes away to Sabino Canyon where Davina and Joel said their vows in the desert under the tall saguaro cacti with Mount Lemmon behind them in the distance. They were surrounded by three close friends, one who was the officiant. After their sweet ceremony, we took group photos and more couples photos. The details of this Sabino Canyon elopement included a beautiful bouquet, custom wooden vow books, gorgeous rings, and a stunning wedding dress straight out of a fairytale!
